A Message from the Creator - Jeffrey Losner
My deepest hopes for The Abstract Tray project are beautifully expressed in Dr. Einstein’s words. His insight captures the essence of what this work represents — the limitless capacity of human imagination to inspire understanding, healing, and growth.
Having lived nearly seven decades, I’ve come to accept two truths: change is constant, and time never stops. These truths, though simple, are the foundation of my purpose — to help people of all ages embrace life’s uncertainties and find peace within themselves through creativity.
The Abstract Tray was born from this belief. It is more than an art experience; it is a tool for transformation — teaching individuals to accept the unusual, to be comfortable with different, and to rediscover the clarity that emerges when we allow our minds to express freely.
From the moment a child enters this world, they begin to absorb an overwhelming flood of sights, sounds, and emotions. Art offers them — and all of us — a safe space to process, to explore feelings, and to translate complex inner experiences into color, form, and movement. Through this process, emotions become tangible, manageable, and ultimately, healing.
Abstract art, though a relatively young concept in human history, has revealed something profound: it frees the mind from the dominance of literal reality. It allows us to explore the inner landscapes of emotion and imagination — spaces that traditional language often cannot reach. Research in neuroscience and psychology now supports what artists have always known: creativity expands our ability to feel, to adapt, and to connect.
It is my hope that The Abstract Tray helps foster this connection — nurturing imagination, mindfulness, and emotional understanding in every participant. We do this not to create professional artists, but to raise humans who are confident, curious, and comfortable with their creativity, wherever it leads them.
Inside the Workshop Experience
Each workshop at An Abstract Mind is designed as a guided pause — a space where participants step away from daily noise and reconnect through hands-on creative expression.
There is no pressure to perform or “get it right.” The process invites curiosity, presence, and reflection, allowing each person to move at their own pace.
Where Creativity Becomes Connection
As the workshop unfolds, participants begin to translate thoughts and emotions into color, movement, and form. What emerges is not just artwork, but clarity — a deeper awareness of inner experiences.
The shared environment fosters connection, grounding, and a sense of ease, making each workshop both personal and collective in its impact.
